Adam Williams

Adam D. Williams is a journalist and writer based in Mexico City. Williams has covered Latin America since 2009 and previously lived in Costa Rica from 2009-2013, where he was Bloomberg’s Central American and Caribbean correspondent. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Financial Times, El País, Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg, and he was most recently an investigative reporting fellow with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).

His most memorable paycheck: It was the first I received as a journalist with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 2004. As a cub sports reporter and boxscore taker, I made just $1,000 per month, but I was nevertheless bursting with pride to pay rent (barely) as a writer/reporter.
