Erhard Anthes

Erhard Anthes is a retired professor of didactics of mathematics at Ludwigsburg University of Education, Germany. He is a member of GdM Gesellschaft für Didaktik der Mathematik, IFHB Internationales Forum Historische Bürowelt, OS Oughtred Society, and TMV Tobias-Mayer-Verein, and cooperates with the Arithmeum University Bonn. His publications themes include mathematics learning, Tobias Mayer, mechanical calculators and slide rules. He is a collector of mathematical instruments, and edited the 2023 edition of Eric Gray Forbes’s book Tobias Mayer (1723 – 1762).
