Yuping Ni

Yuping Ni is Professor of History Department, Tsinghua University, China. He researches the financial history of China in a comparative perspective. His books include “China’s Road in the Great Divergence: Qing’s Model of Economic Development in the 1644-1911 Era” (Groningen University, 2020) and “Customs Duties in the Qing Dynasty, ca. 1644-1911” (Brill, 2016).
