Melina Mörsdorf

Melina Mörsdorf was born in Lübeck in 1980. She studied visual communication at the HfbK Hamburg, today she works as a freelance photographer. Since April 2020, she has been leading the Hamburg chapter of the female photoclub and is committed to improving the visibility of women in photography. She is a founding and board member of the female photoclub e.V. She has also been a member of the DGPh since April 2021. Melina Mörsdorf is represented by the agency laif. She lives with her family in Hamburg.

Her first paycheck: “After my first payday as a photographer in a large studio, I wanted to buy the most expensive wine that the supermarket had to offer. Inexperienced as I was, I bought a bottle for €8. I simply didn’t see the top shelf with the most expensive wines. It was, however, the most delicious wine I’ve ever drunk.”
