Parvez Ahmad Rony

Parvez Ahmad Rony is a team leader at Drik, a leading independent media organization in Bangladesh. He has been working as a photojournalist for over a decade, covering social, political and environmental issues in the region. He has also been managing the digital assets and archives of Drik, ensuring the preservation and accessibility of its rich and diverse collection of images and stories.

Rony has a strong passion for visual storytelling and documentary photography and has participated in several national and international exhibitions, as well as curated and organized roadside exhibitions for the public. He has worked for multiple national dailies and contributed to global agencies, showcasing his skills in still photography and photo assisting. He holds an advanced diploma in photography from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, where he specialized in photojournalism and documentary.
